Liebe Canada Lovers, liebe Canadians,

Wir hoffen sehr, dass es Euch gut geht, und dass ihr Euch über steigende Temperaturen und längere Tage freut. Und im April stehen schon wieder zahlreiche KANADA-Veranstaltungen an. Daher: Save the date(s).

KANADATREFF Düsseldorf am Donnerstag 06. April 2017: Building Bridges and Making Friends – Begegnung mit Kanada

Wir möchten Euch ganz herzlich zu unserem nächsten KANADATREFF in Düsseldorf am 06. April 2017 um 19 Uhr einladen und würden uns über Euer zahlreiches Erscheinen sehr freuen. Wie immer ist es eine Veranstaltung in Kooperation mit der Deutsch-Kanadischen Gesellschaft e. V.

Das Motto unseres Abends lautet: „Building Bridges and Making Friends – Begegnung mit Kanada“

Hierzu würden wir uns freuen, wenn insbesondere zahlreiche Kanadierinnen und Kanadier unserer Einladung folgen. Wir möchten uns untereinander kennenlernen, uns mit ihnen austauschen und zusammen mit ihnen Ideen für zukünftige gemeinsame Events und Aktivitäten entwickeln. Das gemeinsame Kennenlernen sollte hierbei im Fokus stehen.

Wir freuen uns, dass wir Frau Marthe Lemay, kanadische Konsulin in Düsseldorf, an der Veranstaltung teilnehmen wird. Und: Inzwischen haben sich bereits 8 Kanadierinnen bzw. Kanadier für die Veranstaltung bei uns angemeldet!!! Und wir erwarten selbstverständlich noch mehr!

KANADATREFF Stuttgart am Samstag, 22. April 2017

Der nächste KANADATREFF in Stuttgart steht auch bereits fest. Dieser ist am Samstag, 22. April 2017 festgelegt. Bei einem gemeinsamen Essen könnt ihr Euch dann wieder über unser Lieblingsthema Kanada unterhalten! Treffpunkt ist – wie meistens – das TC BBQ, Emil-Kiemlen-Weg 53, 70376 Stuttgart ab 17:30 Uhr. Meldet Euch per E-Mail bei Christine über stuttgart@kanadatreff.com an und teilt uns bitte mit, mit wie vielen Personen ihr dabei seid.

360° KANADATAG in Bergheim bei Köln am 14. Mai 2017 – SAVE THE DATE

2017 ist ein ganz besonderes Jahr für das zweitgrößte Land der Erde. Am 1. Juli ist es 150 Jahre her, dass sich die Kanadische Konföderation gegründet hat.

360° Kanada und die Deutsch-Kanadische Gesellschaft (DKG) feiern mit und präsentieren am 14. Mai 2017 das Traumreiseland Kanada in all‘ seinen Facetten im Medio.Rhein.Erft in Bergheim bei Köln. Drei Multivisionsshows der Kanada-Experten Elvira und Hans G. Pfaff über den Westen, den Osten und den Norden Kanadas, über 20 Vorträge insbesondere zu Reisethemen, eine abwechslungsreiche Ausstellung mit einer Vielzahl von Kanada-Anbietern sowie kulturelle und kulinarische Highlights aus Kanada werden die Besucher der Veranstaltung kurzweilig unterhalten. Musikalisch sorgt der kanadische Singer/Songwriter Morgan Finlay aus Vancouver während des gesamten Events für kanadischen Flair.

Der 360° Kanada-Tag 2017 präsentiert dabei das Land mit einem Schwerpunkt auf den Thema Reisen, Work & Travel, aber auch Schul- und Studienaufenthalte, Auswanderung, Kultur und Produkte aus Kanada finden ihren Platz. Somit bietet der 360° Kanada-Tag 2017 passend zum Konzept der 360°-Magazinreihe eine Rundum-Betrachtung der Destination Kanada.

Der Eintrittspreis für den 360° Kanada-Tag 2017 beträgt im Vorverkauf 10 €. Bestellt Euch die Tickets hier! Mitglieder der DKG und Abonnenten des Magazins 360° Kanada nehmen kostenfrei teil (Tickets werden mit der Ausgabe 2/2017 von 360° Kanada an Abonnenten und Mitglieder verschickt).

Alle zahlenden Besucher erhalten zudem kostenfrei die 360° Kanada Spezialausgabe „Canada 150“ mit 150 Reisetipps aus allen Provinzen und Territorien sowie viel Wissenswertem über das zweitgrößte Land der Erde im Wert von 7,50 €.

Während des 360° Kanada-Tags 2017 wird ein Kanada-Quiz mit Gewinnspiel veranstaltet. Als 1. Preis wird ein Flug für zwei Personen nach Kanada verlost (weitere Preise Weinpaket aus Kanada, Jahresabos 360° Kanada, Kanada-Kalender, Buchpreise und kulinarische Preise).

Vorläufiges Progammm – unter anderem sind folgende Programmpunkte geplant:

  • Ausstellung mit mehr als 15 Kanada-Anbietern (Reise, Flug, Kulinarische Spezialitäten, Wein aus Kanada, Reiseliteratur, Geschenkartikel, Produkte aus Kanada)
  • drei Multivisionsshows über den Westen, den Osten und den Norden Kanadas
  • Vorträge über British Columbia / Alberta
  • Vortrag über Nova Scotia
  • Foto-Vortrag über Kanada von oben
  • Vorträge und persönliche Reiseberatung verschiedener Kanada-Anbieter und durch Canada Specialists
  • Vorträge und Informationen zu Schul-, Studien-, Sprach- und Praktika-Aufenthalten in Kanada
  • Vorträge und Informationen zum Grundstückskauf in Kanada
  • Musik aus Kanada – der kanadische Singer-/Songwriter Morgan Finlay aus Vancouver begleitet das Event musikalisch
  • Großer überregionaler Kanadatreff als Meet & Greet
  • Gewinnspiel, u.a., zwei Flugtickets nach Kanada zu gewinnen
  • und vieles mehr

In den nächsten Tagen und Wochen wird das Programm um weitere Programmpunkte ergänzt. Das ausführliche Programm inklusive Ablaufplan wird Ende März veröffentlicht.

Tickets werden Anfang März (nach Bezahlung) verschickt.

Dresden Maple Meeting – Nächstes Event am Donnerstag, 15. Juni 2017

Für unsere Canada Lovers und Canadians in Sachsen und Umgebung bieten wir in Kooperation mit dem Dresden Maple Meeting (DMM) regelmäßige Treffen an. Karin und Karl heißen Euch ganz herzlich willkommen. Das nächste Treffen ist am Donnerstag, 15. Juni 2017 in der Kurfürstenschänke, An der Frauenkirche 13, 01067 Dresden ab 18:30 Uhr. we hope you feel fine and that you are enjoying the steadily growing temperatures and the longer daytime.  And of course we have some Canada events for all of you. Therefore: Save the date(s).

KANADATREFF Düsseldorf on Thursday, April 6, 2017: Building Bridges and Making Friends – Begegnung mit Kanada

We would like to invite all Canadians to to our next KANADATREFF in Düsseldorf on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 7 pm and we are looking forward to seeing you! This event is organized in cooperation with the German-Canadian Association, Deutsch-Kanadische Gesellschaft e. V.

Our topic: „Building Bridges and Making Friends – Begegnung mit Kanada“

We would like to talk with you, to get to know you in person and to gather ideas for common events and activities. The common exchange will be our focus.

We are happy to anounce that Marthe Lemay, Canadian Consul in Düsseldorf, will join our event! And: Meanwhile 8 Canadians already registered for the event!!! And we expect more!

The meeting will take place at the Restaurant Hirschchen, Alt Pempelfort 2, 40211 Düsseldorf, our traditional location.

The KANADATREFF Stuttgart has also fixed another meeting. So all Canada Lovers and Canadians are heartily welcome to meet on April 22, 2017 at the TC BBQ, Emil-Kiemlen-Weg 53, 70376 Stuttgart at 5:30 pm. 360° KANADATAG in Bergheim bei Köln am 14. Mai 2017 – SAVE THE DATE

2017 will be a very special year for the world´s second largest country. On July 1st it will be 150 years ago, when the Canadian Confederation was founded.

360° Kanada and the Deutsch-Kanadische Gesellschaft (DKG) (German Canadian Association) will organize this special event for Canada Lovers and Canadians and present the dream country Canada in all its facets at Medio.Rhein.Erft in Bergheim close to Cologne on May 14, 2017. Three multivision shows made by the Canada experts Elvira and Hans G. Pfaff about the West, the East and the North of Canada. More than 20 presentations about travel topics, a diversified exhibition with a numerous of Canada travel operators as well as cultural and culinary highlights from Canada will entertain all visitors of this event. The Canadian Singer / Songwriter Morgan Finlay from Vancouver will guarantee also a Canadian atmosphere during the whole event.

The 360° Kanada-Tag 2017 presents the country with a focus on the topic of Travel, Work & Travel, as well as school camps and study visits, emigration, culture and products from Canada will find its places. Therefore the 360° Kanada-Tag 2017 will offer a 360-view of the Destination Canada – which fits to the concept of the 360°-media series.

Tickets for this 360° Kanada-Tag 2017 can be purchased in advance for only 10 € .Get your tickets here!  Members of the DKG (German Canadian Association) and paying subscribers of the magazin 360° Kanada will participate free of charge (tickets will be sent to them with the 360° Kanada edition 2/2017.

All paying visitors will get the special edition „Canada 150“ with 150 travel tips from all provinces and territories as well as interesting facts about the world´s second largest country free (value: 7,50 €).

During the 360° Kanada-Tags 2017 a Canada-Quiz with a raffle will be organized. The winner of the first prize will get a free Canada flight for two persons (further prizes are a package of wine, annual subscription of 360° Kanada, Canada-calendars, books and culinary prizes).

  • presentations about British Columbia / Alberta
  • presentation about Nova Scotia
  • photo-presentation about Canada from above
  • presentations and personal travel advice of different Canada operators and Canada specialists
  • presentations and information about school-, study-, language- and internship stays in Canada
  • presentation and information about property purchase in Canada
  • music from Canada – the Canadian Singer-/Songwriter Morgan Finlay from Vancouver accompanies the event musically
  • a big supra-regional Kanadatreff in form of „Meet & Greet“
  • competition, i.e., two Canada flight tickets
  • and much more

In the next days and weeks the program will be updated with more additional program points. The detailed program including the time schedule will be published by the end of March.

Tickets will be sent (after payment) at the beginning of March.

Dresden Maple Meeting – Next event on June 15

As you know, we also offer regular meetings for Canada lovers and Canadians in Saxony and the environment together with the Dresden Maple Meeting (DMM). Karin and Karl are your hosts and they are looking forward to welcome you! The next Dresden Maple Meeting will be at the Kurfürstenschänke (historic restaurant dated 1708), An der Frauenkirche 13, 01067 Dresden on Thursday, June 15 starting at 6:30 pm. All participants are requested to register via e-Mail to Karin (contact@sprachendienst-bey.de )
